19 weeks

This week was the week of  Father's day.  As usual, we usually bounce around to Berretts and Jackson's.  My dad and Nate made some killer steaks cooked to perfection.

I got Nate a Venus Fly Trap for Father's day. My dad also got one as well.  For our gift to my dad, we got him an updated picture of us and I edited our video of when we went to the Subway.  He really liked it and I spent A TON of time trying to get it perfect.

I'm so excited for Nate to be a dad!  I see the examples of Father's I have in my life and know that we are going to be ok.  He is so excited for Hallie! He talks to her all the time and tells her that they are going to have all these amazing adventures.

It's been an adventure in itself to see my body change the way it has, even though I'm still not showing too much.  I can feel her little kicks and know she can hear us singing in the car (we do that a lot).  Everyone is so happy and excited for us!  One more week and I'll be halfway!

I also went shopping with my mom for a new swimsuit in preparation for the family reunion which was  hilarious.   My chest is much bigger than it was and my mom tried the smaller size on accident which made for a pretty hilarious night.

18 weeks

I am starting to feel more of the flutters and my belly is getting bigger.  It's so amazing!   We went and saw Wonder Woman with my parents this week and I LOVED it!  Such an awesome movie!  We also took Copper on thursday to the Food Trucks at Daybreak!  We met up with Collette and Tracks and Austin and Emily.  It was so fun to watch Copper interact with the kids and the other dogs.

We also got a doppler this week so we can hear her heartbeat whenever we want.

I think about where we were in our process last year and an so grateful we are where we are now.  Both Nate and I are so much happier now.  I can't wait to take newborn pics with Hallie and Copper!  I think it would be darling!  We still have a long way to go...

This week was great!  Brittany and Trevor  were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple exactly 1 year from when they got married.  It was the first time I have been in that temple and it was a wonderful experience!  The other four pregnant Jackson women were able to attend and it was all everyone was talking about haha!  We were on pregnant row in the temple.  It is so fun!  Liana is due July 8th, Melissa is due later July, but will probably come earlier because all of her babies have been like that.  Tawny is due in September,  me in November, and Amy in December!

I think I have started to feel little flutters so that is exciting.   I can't wait until you are big enough for me to see your kicks!

This week was great!  We just found out we are having a girl and our anniversary was this week!  To celebrate, we decided to go to Park City and hang out!  I wasn't sure how I would be feeling,  so we thought park city would be fun.  We watched movies, went on a short hike, ate lots of good food, and just enjoyed being together!  Once June hits, we will be starting to get into baby mode!  We can't wait to meet you Miss Hallie!

We went to the java cow for their ice cream every day

Our traditional 5 year anniversary picture.

I can't believe we have been married for five years!  We have been through lots of ups and downs, but I wouldn't choose anyone else to live this life with.   Our picture is special this year because we didn't have our sweet puppy or miracle baby last year!

15 Weeks

This week was extra exciting because we got to find out if you were a boy or a girl!!  We wanted to find out early, because it's me and I am a very impatient person.  I also thought it would be fun to find out before our anniversary.  We found out on Friday May 19th and told our family on Saturday.

They were so anxious and wanted us to tell them that night, but we were going to dinner with friends so we wouldn't be available that night (hehe).  During the ultrasound, the technician was positive of the gender.  She said if she was wrong, she needs to be fired.  I just think it's crazy that you can tell that early the gender.  When Nate found out, I recorded this video of him pacing and sent it to our family members.

I immediately got phone calls asking what the gender was, but we were just laughing because we were going to tell them tomorrow.  They spent the next 24 hours trying to understand the video and guessing what the gender was based on Nate's reaction.

So the next morning, we went and got our box of goodies, and went to each families' house to reveal.  We went to the Jackson's first and here's their reaction video.

Then we went to the Berrett's and here is their reaction video

Needless to say, WE ARE HAVING A GIRL!  Although shocked at first (I was convinced it was going to be a boy), we are thrilled and nervous for this journey ahead.

Here are some ultrasound pics of her:

Later that night, we went to the Lantern Festival with the Berretts. We got there earlier than last year and had a blast!  Perfect ending to a perfect day.
