33 Weeks 9/22/2017

One week closer!  We had some exciting things happen this week!

1.  Nate repainted the baby's room with my Mom because the first paint we purchased made the room look blue.  Now it looks more gray and I am happy with it!
2.  Hallie is training for the kick-boxing championship.  She moves SO MUCH!  I love it!  I can even start to sleep through some of the kicks.  At night especially, she will kick and move for like 30-45 minutes straight.
3. The crib is set up and it's beautiful. Now to just finish painting the room and setting up the nursery...
4.  We also had the Primary Program last Sunday that went extremely well.  The kids did great and us in the presidency were exhausted by the end.  It comes with having two of the four of us that are pregnant.
5.  I had an ultrasound and checkup on the 22nd this month.  She is getting big.  She weighs 5 lbs and is in the 75th percentile.  She measures like a 34 weeker. My next appointment is in 3 weeks where they'll check my dialation... yikes.  We've got a lot to do still but Nate gets more and more excited the bigger my belly gets!
6.  I had a baby shower with the Siebert family.

Cute picture of little Copper (with my new phone)

She already knows she's number 1

She's got a big foot that likes to kick me

These were all the places the Jackson's went to and prayed for Hallie.

32 Weeks 9/15/2017

I have made it to 32 weeks!  This week, I had a neighborhood baby shower and got spoiled with all sorts of fun gifts, books, and clothes for miss Hallie.  We celebrated Madelyn's birthday on the 17th and I had my Bingham High School 10-year reunion on the 16th.  It was fun to see a lot of my old friends and some people that I hadn't' seen for years!  It's interesting to note just how cliquey the groups still are.  It's like we bounced all the way back to high school again.  Either way, we had a really good time (I didn't take any pictures...)

That night after the party, we got word that Grandpa Siebert had fallen down the stairs and was in the ER.  So we went to IMC and stayed there until 11 or so.  They thought he had broken his leg, but he didn't.  He hit his head pretty hard too and something might not be right with his heart.  He is doing a lot better, but there is still concern there too.

My appointment with Dr Wilson is next week and we are going to do an ultrasound so I'm pretty excited.

30 Weeks

This week we were in Park City with the Sieberts!  I wasn't able to do the things that I have done in the past up there (mountain biking, hiking, alpine slide), but we still had some fun walking through the botiques, outlet mall shopping, watching Brad get a ride in Dave's new Mustang, eating lots of food.

On Sunday, we went to Evelyn's baby blessing (Jeremy and Liana's 3rd baby).  It is always fun to see family there and the blessing was beautiful.

We also spent the week prepping the nursery for paint while my parents went to Israel for 10 days.

29 Weeks

This week, we celebrated Quinn's birthday (4 years old!!) and the grandparents bought her a jeep that her and Tucker took everywhere.

We also watched the fight between Mayweather and McGreggor.  meh.  It was kinda fun to watch but not my thing and it started late in the evening for this pregnant girl.

We also went to see the Roots downtown for Kyle's birthday.  We  didn't realize that EVERYONE would be smoking weed at this place and made it barely one song before a girl blew smoke right into my face and we left.  I just didn't want anything to happen to Hallie.  I was bummed we had to leave but I really hate the smell of Mary Jane.

The highlight of this week is watching her roll across my belly and kick.  But she is moving a lot and it's really fun to watch and feel.  Not so fun:  I have to watch what I eat or I will get heartburn.  I have started taking Zantax

28 Weeks

I hit 28 weeks while we were still in Cali so I'll post that picture here:

This week, the big event was the Great American Eclipse.  We had front row seats thanks to Kirie and Bob's generosity.  We came back from Cali and actually ran into Megan, Chrissy and the kids (they were in Portland), got Copper, re-packed, and then headed up to Idaho to stay the night on Sunday.

We had a blast with family we haven't seen in years and big thanks to Bob and Kirie for letting us bring Copper and stay at their house.  We left right after Totality and were literally 10 minutes in front of the crazy traffic.  I'm glad, because I was uncomfortable almost the entire car ride home.  My parents, not so lucky.  It took us an extra 15 min to get home and took them 6.5 hours... yikes.

I also did my glucose test which came back normal

27 weeks

This week was a blast.  We were in Newport for the entire week and I couldn't wait to get away from work and just enjoy vacation.  Before we left, I purchased an entire new wardrobe.  In fact, nearly every item I packed was new.  Never done that before...  We had a blast relaxing on the beach, driving 1.5 hours one way to eat crab legs (I didn't have any), eating at Ruby's diner, getting the shake shack nearly every day.  We even got to be audience members on the Price is Right!  Not as fun as it sounds.  We got there WAY too early.  I think we waited 7 hours in total to see the show.  It was interesting to see how they film the show but I would only do it again if Nate wanted to do it.  That episode will be aired Nov 9th I think.

This picture was taken before we left, obviously. #bathroomselfie

It was a long drive...  I had to make it interesting
Fun Fact:  All these name tags are handwritten by the same person...I wonder how long she has worked for the show.
When you have 5 hours to kill and you are all pregnant at the same time, your mom and mother in law buy you onesies
Proving to anyone watching that I have a baby in there.
The whole crew:  Kaden, Dave Tammy, Steve, Jana, Kristine, Cheryl, Steve, Trevor, Sheila, Me.
Julia, Judy, Grandma, Grandpa, Brittany, Brad.

In another line getting closer to the stage!
Even though none of us got up, we still had a good time.

This was taken on our whale watching tour.  I kind of like how our arms are criss-crossed.  What the picture doesn't show is how rocky it was to be on the top level of the boat, so we were holding on pretty tight.

Nate wanted to prove that his belly was as big as mine...

Still Whale watching, but on the main deck

I just think he's the cutest.

Because it was vacation, this week FLEW by!
