26 weeks

One more week and I am into the third trimester!!  We went to two weddings and a baptism this week and we celebrated my mom's birthday by eating cake (not great when you are battling heartburn) and preparing to go to Newport Beach!!  I am excited to get away for a whole week and just relax.  My cousin McKay got married in the Payson Temple on Aug 4th, Kyle Nelson's brother got married on the 5th, and Taire Workman (neighbor girl) got baptized on the 5th.

Also,  I came home from work and Copper had thrown up and pooped everywhere two days in a row.  So we took him to the vet.  Turns out, he has a bacterial infection and needs to take some meds to keep him healthy.  We were going to leave him with my sister for all next week, but I think we will board him just in case.

We almost have the baby room cleaned out and will hopefully have it painted by the end of the month!  Our registry is mostly done (I can't work on it too long without being overwhelmed) and the heartburn came back with a vengeance this week!  So bad that it woke me up from a dead sleep in the middle of the night.  We have a checkup on Friday (at 27 weeks) for my glucose test and I think I'm going to get a prescription for heart burn relief...   People, we are 13 weeks away from meeting my sweet baby Hallie Mae!!

25 weeks

Heartburn this week kind of calmed down, which was good.  I can only eat so many tums...  This week was Grandpa Siebert's birthday party.  We went to Sheila's house where they did a "meat-boil"
We had sausage, potatoes, corn, shrimp all just thrown on the table and we would eat with a toothpick.  I had never done something like that, and that was pretty fun.  We also found out that Kristine and Jon are expecting in February!  We are really excited for them!  They will be amazing parents.

Hallie kicks so much now that I notice during work.  It's so fun to be able to feel her and watch my belly get bigger.

24 Weeks

The newest symptom for this week is heartburn.  I read it is because your uterus is getting bigger and pushing up all your organs, causing acid to ride up your esophagus.  I've never had heart burn so that was a very interesting symptom.  It's not as bad as it could be though.  Some women have to have a prescription to help them sleep and contain the heartburn.  Hopefully I don't have to do that in the future.

This week, we went to the Bees game with Nate's work.  We lasted not even 4 innings... What can we say, baseball isn't our thing.  #soccer4lyfe

We also celebrated the 24th of July with a BBQ at Shelly's where all the girls took their pregnancy picture.

Overall, it was a fun week and I'm starting to feel bigger.
